How To Find Your Specific Purpose in Life by Gregg Fetter

Hey all,

As you might have noticed I am posting more self discovery links than small craft projects these days.

I’m on a journey of defining my purpose and dealing with everything that has to do with it. From dealing with emotions, time management, making decisions and cleaning up.

I am hooked on a bible verse for this:

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

In papiamentu (my native language): Buska reino di Dios i buska pa hasi su boluntat prome i boso ta hana tur e sobra kosnan aki aserka.

So after receiving a very important word I could no longer sit and wait. I had to do something, but what? I still have no clue of what the “thing” is.

I started asking God to take away things from me that would hinder or do not contribute to the purpose, to point things out to me, to show more specifically, even to shake me if He needs to.

So today I bumped into this post (after searching for 100+ others) and I finally found something practical I can tackle!!

It’s called: Bible Made Simple: How To Find Your Specific Purpose in Life by Mr. Gregg Fetter.

I’m not there yet, but I will most certainly work on it to get there, because I really feel like a fish out of water.

While on this journey I will keep on crafting and drinking tea! After all, that’s what I have always liked the most!

Till then ❤

Craft room clean up!

Hey everyone,

This week I have been cleaning up my craft room. I was a heavy job as I had to let go of many things I held dear to my heart.

But I chose to do so to make room for new things and to shape the purpose of the room and of my crafting style. I had to much of to many going on at the same time that I lost track of what I like and what I need.

So if anyone is interested I’ve set up a mini shop on the facebook page of some of the things I am selling.

Letting go is hard but it does feel good, especially when you are helping someone who needs the things more than you do.

Here’s the store: Crafty Teacups Thrift Store!

I’ll leave you with a verse that helps me when cleaning:

Isaiah 43:18-19 (AMP)

Do not [earnestly] remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
